New Year's Eve on Beinn Alligin
An absolutely glorious day out on Beinn Alligin to finish off 2015 in spectacular style. Days like this remind you why ignoring MWIS and getting up at 6:30am to climb in Scotland is so worthwhile.

Winter had clearly not arrived in north west Scotland yet, but even so, Owen, Clay and I made a somewhat speculative hike up into Coire Mhic Fherchair. The ridge is interesting but broken and generally very escapable, all qualities that attracted Dylan to it in the first place. An ideal venue for a quick Sunday scramble before heading back home.
Inaccurate forecasts turned our planned climbing trip into a weekend of wet ascents in the Carneddau. Never mind!
A lovely day with Emily and Owen, ticking off some routes in the Gorge that I should have climbed a long time ago. Great climbing in the sunshine with only a slight mishap when Owen dropped his phone onto a ledge halfway up Sinister. Petros and Piton Route completed the set.
Two days in the sunshine climbing with Owen and Steve ticking all of the starred classic routes at Wyndcliffe. Also a good chance to try out some timelapse photography techniques over a whole climb.
