The Dewerstone
This is a really great crag. Soaring out of the trees with excellent rock and what looks like a selection of great multipitch routes. We climbed Climber's Club Ordinary (Classic Rock, naturally), but I'll definitely be back.

A productive week in the gorge, taking Adam and Craig on their first multi-pitch trad routes either side of a day out with Steve Gibbs. The latter was fairly eventful as found myself back near the ground upside after taking a big lob off of Simian.
My first ever mountain biking course, Craig led us around the North Face Trail at Grizedale which was great fun and very manageable, despite the 'difficult' label. 10 miles of climbs, technical drops and descents, I've never gone from dismissing to loving a sport so fast before.
We weren't expecting any snow so were somewhat unprepared for the wet drifts coating the slabs of the ridge. Craig, Neil, Prosser and I made it to the notch below the final summit ascent before calling it a day.
